Myself and some co-workers are trying to set something up on base if the base C.O. approves it. The plans we have are pretty insaine. (not trying to plug anything for our event just saying). So stay tuned if it gets approved, we will be announcing it everywhere.

The best place I’ve ever been is Markoff's Haunted Forest!! I’ve never drove from here...we've only been down here about a year...but it’d probably be worth it. I mean it scared the s**t out of us! No little kids allowed & they make you sign a waiver. The wait is a little long, but last time we went they had a bunch of stuff to do until your turn. Shooo now you got me thinking about it.....I might just have to go!!

OHHH MANN! I went to this last year, and about s*** my pants. The worst was waiting around, and getting the crap scared out of you. I will say, this is the best haunted trail I have ever been to. Just beware when using the port-a-john, and then you walkout! That's all I'm going to say. They had a zipline that went into a field that you could pay to do. That was awesome!:yahoo:

Feel like a drive to Philly??? It would be more like 3 hours for you, but it's supposed to be great... Drove by it last year but didn't get to stop.

Not a Lurker anymore!
Goatmans Hollow is a real waste of time. Not scary at all. Comical at times.

Kings Dominion

I know it's not a hayride or trail...but we went to Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion last week and it was GREAT. We used to go to Six Flags, but they only had the one haunted house attraction (which burnt down earlier this year) and the scary train ride.

We spent the day at KD Saturday - got there at opening to go on all the regular rides. Most of the haunted stuff opens at 6pm and the rest at 7pm, and everything's open till midnight. They had several haunted house type things to walk through, and they all scared the  outta us! 14yo son almost peed his pants a few times. They also had "scare zones" which were just areas in the park where you'd walk through lots of fog and people would jump out at you or sneak up behind you...they also had the old timey cars set up with characters... Oh, and in the Spongebob 3D theater they were showing an Elvira movie that felt just like you were on a haunted roller coaster. We loved that one - it was more like a ride than a movie!

Anway, it was great - VERY SCARY - blew Six Flags out of the water. We will definitely go back next year.

I just went to Terror Behind the Walls last weekend and it was great. If you do go I would suggest trying to get one of the earlier slots times to go in. We went in at 8 and there wasn't much of a wait...maybe 25 minutes or so but when we came out the line was starting to wrap around the outside walls of the penitentiary. You can buy your tickets ahead of time online to gurrantee a spot.
