This must have been positively frightening for you, KCM. I'm glad to know that you and your family is safe. :huggy:

Be diligent in watching for delayed signs of trauma. Like other posters have warned, many injuries seem to creep up days and weeks after the initial accident. And try to take lots of photos today and in the next few days - of everyone in the family as well as both of the autos. These photos will be useful if used in future litigation.

Good luck to all of you.
:yay: Boy am I feeling it this morning!

Glad you and your family are okay, and I hope the police catch the jerk who did it. :flowers:

Glad you and your family are Ok. That sounds scary!

It's good that your Jeep held up like that too. It's nice to have a late model vehicle with the current safety features. If this accident occured 20 years ago you might not have had the same results (no one hurt).

I hope that catch the person who was driving the Saturn. What a dirt bag!

Glad you and your family aren't damaged too bad. Hope they fry the jerk when they catch up to him.

So sorry to hear about your accident, but great to hear no serious injuries to your family.

If the need for a lawyer does arise, look up Larry Cumberland in Prince Fredrick :yay:

:shocking: Wow! You guys must have had a guardian angel to be able to walk away from that. What a horrific experience.

I'm very glad to hear everyone is okay. :huggy:

How someone could do this and then run away is beyond belief.

I am so happy nobody was injured in this accident.

The driver of the Saturn may have stolen the car and was running to avoid arrest for the larceny as well as failing to yield ROW.

Glad y'all are alright and I hope no injuries creep up on you. Hopefully, the cops will also get of their butts, put the donuts down and find the guy.

Edit: Scratch that- I took another look. The fender is definately broken and you can make out the Saturn symbol. Its an "S" series sedan (SLX). SL2, IIRC, since the bumpers and door handles are painted. Not sure on the year, but its definately early 90's- don't know when they changed the body style.

*UPDATE*

The police do know who the individual is that has hit us. They have the registration from the car along with other personal effects that were still in the car at the time of him fleeing on foot. Because this is still an ongoing investigation...I can't tell anyone who he is.:flowers: I hope you all understand.

I want to thank each and everyone of you for your advice, kind words and thoughts. The picture that was linked in this thread doesn't do justice to what my vehicle really looks like. When I get a chance I will post what my jeep looks like in day light. All I can say is it is a miracle.

Hope everyone has a very happy New Year.

Not sure about Calvert, but if I needed a personal injury attorney in St. Mary's County, I'd choose either Phil Dorsey in Leonardtown, or Bryan Dugan in Lexington Park.

Hope your family is recovering quickly from this horrific incident.
