It depends on how they introduce themselves. Like the gal that got on wanting us all to email her information on some cyberbullies that were jacking up kids that weren't even hers and she had nothing to do with? I saw her coming a mile away and posted a basic safety warning, then closed the thread to new posts. She emailed me a nastygram and called me a few names (I wasn't mean to her or rude or anything), so I figured, "Okay....:shrug:"

Lots of newbies get on here and are warmly welcomed. Just not the ones that introduce themselves by saying SoMD sucks, or we're all a bunch of morons, or with some personal tale of woe about how their boyfriend kicked them out.

And don't worry - I'll hit you up with green to make up for any dip that smacks you with red.

Thanks Vrai! We've known each other for a long time and I think you can vouch for me! I've taken some pretty nasty hits for my username, I guess I should have chosen more carefully but I just didn't think it was that big of a deal. Maybe I should have gone more the secret identity route!

I recommend a thick skin for anyone wanting to join here, but I can tell you this: this place is as civilized and friendly as I've seen anywhere - bar none. I could tell you some stories. Yup, the choice of name was a booboo on your part - I have a real grudge with ReMax anyway. It's a pretty nasty grudge, too - I considered a lawsuit after my experience there.
