Someone at the place where we have our camper set up at told me about an RV site you may want to check out. It's called Escapees.com
Looks like there is membership involved. I haven't checked it out yet, just thought I would pass on the info.

From a cost perspective, keep in mind that most standard hotel rooms won't have cooking amenities beyond a mini fridge and nuker. As such, that means more meals out = more costs vs making your own meals. Also, personally, I would prefer my own RV, bed, amenities, utensils, etc. In your new world of constant new surroundings, a little familiarity might be a welcome staple. I would probably choke the ever-loving F out of someone being in a crammed car for repeated long periods of time.
