From a cost perspective, keep in mind that most standard hotel rooms won't have cooking amenities beyond a mini fridge and nuker. As such, that means more meals out = more costs vs making your own meals. Also, personally, I would prefer my own RV, bed, amenities, utensils, etc. In your new world of constant new surroundings, a little familiarity might be a welcome staple. I would probably choke the ever-loving F out of someone being in a crammed car for repeated long periods of time.
