To find a new job. I'm still a "virgin" when it comes to Pax River so when it comes to job hunting I don't know where to start. I've done the classifieds, Monster and Washingtonjobs.com and put my resume in a few places. If anyone knows any good "local" resources please let me know. :howdy:

Still looking for work here too! Actuall considering a career change from computers to medical sales. We'll see.

Just remember: When you're unemployed, every day is Saturday!

try going to human resources in the frank knox building (the old school outside gate 2. if you park in the pass office lot you have to walk all the way down the hall and its the last doors on your right. They have a list of contractors that you can pummel with your resume and they also have all the current civil service listings. if you put in for a gov job make sure you follow all the instructions, and even ask at the4 office for help, they sometimes will look over your package to see if it is complete.

good luck

 Have you tried going through Manpower? I've gotten several jobs (including one at NavAir) that way, and sometimes they offer full-time jobs to temps.

Out of all the job boards, Monster.com is the best, and they only have a 4% fill rate. Usually the best jobs are unadvertised.

I would recommend joining and becoming active in a local chapter of a professional organization devoted to Program Management, etc. You can find them by asking your reference librarian.

I'm just starting to do that stuff here, and I'm finding that I have a lot more job leads than I ever did thru job boards.
