New Camaro SS Pics

Driving the Z

I know there's a bunch of people out there that think this new Camaro is the greatest thing since steak & chesse subs. However, having had 3 Camaro's of which 2 were Z/28's, and a Firebird Trans Am, I guess you can say that I've been an "F" body person for a long time. I honestly think it's a slap in the face to the Camaro name. Just like the 2 times General Motors tried to revive the GTO name, I think this will be a failure.

The front of the car (headlights & grille) has a stiking resemblence to that of the now terminated Chrysler Crossfire, and the tailights don't remind me of any Camaro. The Firebird had tailights that had a similar distinction at one time, but not the Camaro.

If you're going to revive a sports car legend name, do it like Ford did with the new Mustang. It looks like the old Mustang. Or, do like Chrysler did with the new Dodge Challenger. That looks like the old Dodge Challenger.

Sorry, I'm thumbs down :boo: on the new Camaro.

I don't like it either. Too boxy or something. Looks like a cross between the new Chargers with a smidge of Mustang flair tossed in.

I love the old Camaros from the 60's..before they went to the long body style.

I was hit three times, minor damage each time. The third time, it did some damage, but moreso to me. My neck/back was effed up for a year. They still aren't right.

That car was a friggin tank and it effed up all the other cars. :lmao:

...I was gonna say I see a few references to Camero's of old. I see '67 with the sharp snout.
