I haven't seen a Long John Silvers since I was a teenager.

I used to travel from Maryland to Florida and back with my grandparents and they always stopped off at one for lunch or dinner.

If I remember correctly, everything was fried.

SAME HERE...... :lmao:

Long John Silvers Sucks !!!! I hate their food its fake and disgusting
I'm not a huge fan, either. We have such excellent seafood and fresh fish in this area, I can't imagine getting excited over a LJS.

The McDonald's is coming to a pad site at the front of St. Mary's Square, whereas the Long John's Silver is coming to the old Pizza Hut along Great Mills Road. These projects are posted on the St. Mary's County government Web site, coming through the technical evaluation committee. Not approved yet as the Post presents. And according to the posts here on somd.com, I hear the new Chipotle place has created a new fangled contraption "the burrito."

The heading in the Tech Eval Committee memo says A&W and Long Jogn Silver but the actual map only shows A&W and doesn't mention LJS so we'll have to wait & see.

Now something is beginning to make sense - the SOMD section suggested a McD's on 17 acres and 30 some thousand square feet - which would make it about the largest McD's in the country.

So I'm guessing the numbers refer to St Mary's Square itself, and not the McD's?

Long John Silver's? Yuck. Grease pit. I won't be going there. And who cares about McDonalds. My kids don't even want to go there. They think it's nasty compared to other fast food - like Arby's.

That's my favorite, too, with pickles, hots, cucumbers, lettuce and tomato :yum:
Ever since the spinach scare Subway took it off their fixin's-nice touch to the club samich on honey oat.
In VA KFC also houses Long John Silvers-I gotta agree w/aps-fish is bland, me thinks folks like the fried batter!

Note:Long John Silver's, along with Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC and A&W Restaurants make Yum! Brands, Inc., the world's largest restaurant company in terms of system units.
