Yes thats true. dual and multiple core CPU's are good if you are doing more than one thing at a time. I Rarely use more than one App at a time so a Single core for games and such was fine for me. I just hate a "basic" computer user being force fed into thinking they "need" a dual or muli core CPU.
Its like giving a 60 year old that never uses a computer an SLI or Crossfire setup for graphics... just doesnt make sence that people think they "need" this stuff
