New Generation Daycare

The key word in my post was "strangers".

Warnings from strangers do not hold much weight with me  on topics as important as the safety of my kids. I'd much rather get feed-back from people who know me, my kids, my values/ethics, etc.

If somebody posted "I think their discipline tactics are too laxed", it could mean 1 they let the kids get away with things that may endanger them or 2 they don't use force (such as belt or multiple spankings) like the said poster believes is the correct way to handle discipline. If I don't know the person, I can't gauge how much value their opinion is to me.

Socki, I agree with you that I'd rather see warning posted but I will not base my decision on them if I don't know the person behind it.

I was assuming that the OP was looking for info from people who may have had experience with this place. Chances are that your family/friends may have not. Just a thought.

Perhaps the OP does not have friends/family that may have had any experience with this place. Just another thought.

It appears that not many people have experience with this place which kind of surprises me. I would have thought more people would have considering the vast number of people on here.

It's not in the most populated area. One can only assume that most daycares are closer to the base.

Let's just say...

Someone interviews your wife, checks her background and is satisfied and then signs their kid up for her daycare. Say said person still would like some personal feedback and starts a thread here asking for opinions. Would you take issue with that?
The flaw in your logic is that you assume that anyone manages to show up for an interview in the first place. Only 3 people have shown up, out of about 9 scheduled interviews, out of about 12 phone calls in the last 6 months. And in two of those interviews they complained that there were no children here for their child to play with.

But how many kids do they have? 20? 30 max, I'd guess. It's not a big place.

This is true too.

I was just saying, it sounded as though the criteria met her standards (for that facility, not yours) and she just wanted some personal feedback.

Is it so much to ask if she wanted more?

I interviewed Prep And Play and did all the checks and still wanted more info. Was that wrong? Don't search here, it was before I joined.
