Even though a referendum on slots hasn't been voted on, elected officials are acting like it's a done deal.

Mobtown USA has reviewed Mayor Sheila Dixon's latest campaign finance report of Jan. 8 and found that the president of a ornamental metals company with the specialty of providing rails and tempered glass for various casinos donated $4,000 of the $4,760 donated to Dixon during this period.

For the rest:

Slots are comng all right. There is little doubt of that.

But dont look for St. Mary's County to get any of them.

We will be on the bottom of that list.

We will be treated on the slots like we are in every other form of what goes on in Annapolis. Like a red headed step-child.

Looks like O'Malley will punish the Republicans of St. Mary County and reward the Democrats of Baltimore City and Prince George's counties.

Both could have waterfront slot parlors.
