New Lenses

I would be fit to be tied if my 1800.00 lense broke like that!!

I know it was the filter that got it instead, but DAYUM!!!

You guys are making me scared to even take this camera out of the box when it gets here!

I can't even imagine paying that much money for a lense. When will you have your camera?

Well, seeing how it is back ordered, it will be a bit. But not so long I wasn't willing to wait. I ordered it from Dell cause I already have credit with them and didn't want to open another account anywhere. This one comes with that lense you were talking about in your first post. I am so excited, these few days are going to drag by.

This is why you use a filter
Seen here is the Nikon 70-200 mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S VR Lens it sells for around $1,800 so I rented it for $37 a week. I was shooting the Demolition Derby when a car kicked up some rocks, and SMACK. I took off the Haze filter and dumped out the broken glass and put the filter back on and finished shooting the derby with no problems. I put on one of my filters till I returned it.

How did you like the lens? I always use 70-200 mm lens. It just gets heavy after shooting for an hour.
