New newspaper in DC?

I heard on 104.1 this morning of a new newspaper in DC and I think it was called the DC Inquirer. Did anybody else hear this? They said it was online and now I can't find it, thinking I have the name wrong. Any help???

I saw it on the news this morning, its not called the DC Inquirer. It is something with an "E"? Examiner!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The paper is the Examiner. The guy who owns the Lakers (and close personal firend to Dick Chaney), bought the Journal newspapers, which had been struggling for a long time in the DC/VA area, and decided he had a message to get out. It will be another conservative paper in the area, however, the owner is investing a lot of his own personal money to get it where it needs to be. Not to mention it is a free paper, which means it has no actual circulation, just distribution to various locals in the DC and VA area. I wish him a lot of luck.

The Washington Examiner will cater to people with limited time to read a newspaper

So it's free, so it'll be laying around lobbies all over DC. It's small (see above quote^) but it comes out 6 days a week, not weekly like the City Paper. It'll definately be different.

It's the "conservative" version of the Washington Post's "Washington Post Express".
