I know there are a lot of animal lover n the forums, so I thought this might be of interest.

They were not able to evacuate any of the animals from the Audubon Zoo, but 14 staff members were incredibly well prepared, got everyone hunkered down in safe areas, and weathered the storm. Out of hundreds and hundreds of animals, 2 otters and 1 raccoon were lost. They finally received fresh water supplies and food yesterday, BUT THEY WERE PREPARED!

On their website, they explain that they have been preparing for this INEVITABLE disaster for years. They are dedicated and they LOVE THESE ANIMALS, so they TOOK CARE OF THEM, with almost NO LOSSES.

What say you to that, Mayor?
