I know, there are many who decry mounting a phone. I understand your reasons, and I'm not here to debate that. For those interested, this system works with either a case made for your phone that matches that pattern and twists to lock, or an adhesive mount that sticks to your existing case. I hadn't gotten this system before because I don't trust adhesives that much. That thing behind is an anit-vibration adapter. In my old Tackform mount, while the phone ewas secure, it passed along enough vibration that seeing anything other than my route on the nav was hard. Charging percentage being the main thing. With this, the screen is crystal clear.
