I think you may be forgetting A LOT of us grew up or were young adults in the 80s so we may find things from the 80s nostalgic not scary.

Although the episode IV of Star Wars came out in the 70s, episodes V and VI came out in the 80s. We just had III come out. Is that scary?

i've seen a few movies from the 80's for example the last three Superman movies

I'd go out on a limb and say, Arnold or not, "Terminator 4" is almost a guarantee. I don't see how, after the ending of the last movie, any studio can resist the idea of a *HUGE* action-packed movie literally BRIMMING with special effects of a war between man and machine - and not have it done. And I'd bet, governor or not, Arnold would definitely have a cameo in it.

oh well what are the chances?

To me, the 90's ended yesterday, and the 80's ended last week.

To you maybe...it can be kind of hard for people in their 30s to be nostalgic about the 50s or the 60s since they were too young to have been alive or to remember. Kind of depends on your age. I love movies from the 50s and 60s but they do not make me nostalgic. ON the other hand things from the 80s makes me remember my childhood and teenage years.
