Tack Store

The new shop opened at Flat Iron Farm last week! I can't say much since I haven't wandered in there yet, but I know they plan to have a pretty good selection. I'll take a look today. It's called "horseTrading" and it's in the back of the first barn on the right. I'll fill everyone in on what they have later today!

We stopped in the new tack store at Flat Iron today. after we found the donkey blanket. Jill is very happy tonight with her blanket The store seemed ok. Has a variety of things. The lady was very helpfull and asked if there was anything in particular that we would like to see, that she has a customer wish list going. She does consignment and has interest in local artist made things (horsey) Then we looked at the critters at the end of the building. Very cute..Exoctic (sp) May go back after she is more settled in.

Just One More Saddlery & Tack.....an ok place also, but a bit of a drive for every day supplies for me. I try and stop when I do go that way.

For those of you who don't know, I'm Robin's daughter, Jacki... (aka Hickory Hollow) Glad to hear there are more tack shops around here. It's about time! I'll have to check out Flat Iron when I get a chance to head down that way. School has been tying me to Baltimore. :-( Hope everyone is well!

Flat Iron is having a big open house event all day this Sat. 12-8. Pony rides, sales, horses for sale, food, the whole shabang. "lou" is considering a purple quilted blanket to match his polo wraps and halter, it'll be on sale Sat.! I'm gonna try to be there and help out during the evening, I hope to meet some of you!

The store isn't open yet, but it shouldn't be long. Still have to go through all the business stuff. From what I know, she will be selling feed, just don't want to jump the gun on everything yet as to what brand etc... English AND Western supplies for sure. :-D Just bookmark that website. Anytime there is a change, I'll post it there (I'll be sure to give a heads up around here too), once it opens, I'll launch the official website (I guess it's good for mom to have a graphic design student as a daughter ) Miss seeing your smiling faces!
