New Year's Day Accident near Ridge

If anyone is still interested, the guy is alive. He was in a coma for about 2 weeks and woke up. He has been transferred to an ICU rehab but is still on a ventilator. MRI shows no signs of permanent damage.

Thanks for the update. He still has a very long recovery ahead, but at least they can be optomistic.

I talked to his FIL the other day and they are pretty optomistic. Long road of rehab ahead of him.

I've talked to his wife a few times and things are looking much better but he seems to be confused now as to who people are. I know he needs surgery for some fractures that he has.

I've heard that things are improving for him, but as previous posts have said, he's in for a very long recovery period. I thank all of you for keeping the information coming. Hopefully he will have a full recovery--for his sake and that of his family.

I also hope that anyone reading this will realize that while motorcycles are fun, you have to use your common sense when riding. ALWAYS wear a DOT helmet and ALWAYS be alert and obey the laws. They're there for a reason.
