I love those patties,I tried some walmart brand they cooked great and tasted good but they are a little to spicey for me..
Next on the menu Banquet sailsbury steak if I cannot get my wife to make her Homemade ones.
The Tyson spicy patties by themselves are too hot to enjoy. That's why I put mayo on both sides of the roll and a 2" stack of Romaine leaves. 😆

Also, only the ones from plant #7221 are edible, in my opinion. They seem to use mostly real chicken breast. The other plant(s) seem to have been ground up and formed from mush. Food Lion brand are a similar texture, but they don't offer a spicy variation. Adding my own cayenne is hit and miss. :roflmao:

Husband bought some stew meat yesterday (very expensive!!) so it's been in the crock pot all day. Where I always used spicy v-8, I tried the campbell's spicy tomato soup along with beef/onion lipton soup mix. Lots of veggies.
It smells delicious :yum:
Note to self: one whole can of the Campbell's spicy tomato soup was too much and in the future use less and add more water. My poor husband was dripping with sweat as he ate it! I told him to water it down or even rinse it off with water  It definitely had some kick! I had also added a can of tomato sauce and along with the soup, it was a very thick broth.
I liked it alright and it won't go to waste but it wasn't my best!

My meatballs and sauce were stellar. I used to buy frozen meatballs for convenience, but I realized it only takes a few minutes to make them from scratch and the results are infinitely better. I'm not sure where I get my weird ideas that things are "convenient" when they're not really.

I used 2 small cans of V8 Spicy Juice in my vegetable beef soup once. I got the idea from you. It was too hot to really enjoy. I revised my recipe to get rid of the heat and it turned out awesome.

This is true. But I keep a store of ground beef frozen, so by the time I decide I want something with ground beef, it's usually too late to start defrosting, and I'm not running out to the store just for that. For that reason alone, I use frozen meatballs, both regular and Swedish style.

My microwave has a defrost setting and it takes 6mins for a lb of ground beef, plus 5mins to let it settle down. I haven't defrosted anything the long way in years.
