Welcome to the area. The mill is on Indian Bridge Road, it's the only working double overshot water wheel in the state of Maryland. It shut down when my great uncle was killed by a 'dog' while sawing lumber. It was a grist mill before he turned it into a saw mill. It is now a museum/ outlet for artists with demo's on the saw mill. The diesel engine that runs the saw mill used to be the engine that ran the first electric/ice company in Leonardtown. That was started by another great uncle of mine. You should go check it out sometime, it's awesome.
