...after fall from truck

(CNN) -- Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry suffered "life-threatening injuries" after falling out of the bed of a pickup during a fight with his fiancee, police in Charlotte, North Carolina, said Wednesday.
The incident occurred shortly before noon Wednesday, when Henry's fiancee tried to drive off during a "domestic situation," only to have Henry jump into the bed of the truck, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said in a written statement.

People can be so stupid. I feel bad for his family since he can possible die for his stupid actions.

Looks as though he jumped in the back of the truck that his fiancee was driving, as she was trying to get away from him, after a personal dispute.

Was he thrown off the back, because of her frantic driving? Sounds like it.

You know the law enforcement types will be all over this one.......

I doubt she will be charged w/ anything. I mean come on who jumps in the back of a moving truck?

I don't know, the full story hasn't been told yet. But, how about a pizzed-off fiance, who might have been trying to stop her from leaving him? Did she fear for her life?

We don't know what caused her to flee the scene, but I'd bet she was scared as hell!

ESPN has been memoralizing Chris Henry - all day long, telling us how he had attempted to change his life around, from all the violence, the arrests(5 that I've read about) and how he had turned into a different man.

I'm at odds here though: what was it that made him want to persue his fiancee, so much so, that she felt it was in her best interests to get the hell out of there??

From what I've read the man was a hoodlum. Good riddance. :bigwhoop: :dead:

I just watched a recent file clip of him. He said that he did a complete 360 with his life.

Wouldn't that mean he was right back where he started from?

edit: My second observation is that Mercury Morris is still an idiot.

We don't know the whole story yet, but something still makes me wonder about this tale: what was it that made this guy want to jump into the back of a truck, to try and keep this gal from leaving him?

Like I said earlier, ESPN has tried it's best to portray Chris Henry as some sort of reformist, a man who had changed his lifestyle - for the good - and yet he ends up dead, as a result of all this?

I have to call a Bull Shaitt!! - on this one. It just doesn't add up. Maybe he reverted to the faults of his previous lifestyle, and noone noticed it?

Oh yeah! ESPN has shown a video of Chad Ochocinco(sp?), saying they were the best of friends! With him on your side, what else can be said? :killingme
