Nice restaurants?

I'd like to go out for a nice dinner to celebrate Valentine's day but not ON Valentines because restaurants are always so busy... anyway, anyone have any suggestions? I'm open to different types of restaurants, but a little on the nicer end...

Café des Artistes and The Front Porch in Leonardtown. Dry Dock and CD Café on Solomons. Back Creek Bistro in Dowell.

For a special Valentines dinner, I would second Café des Artistes and CD Café. I think regardless of when you go, it would be wise to make reservations at CD Café since it is a small place and fills up fast.

I'm not sure that CD's takes reservations, but they do have the nice back bar to wait in for drinks and appetizers.

I really enjoyed Bistro Belle Maison over in Solomons. They have a Facebook page where they post the menu for the week.

When I went they had the most amazing melt in your mouth scallops in one of the dishes.

Is this the place that was featured in the "Southern Md This is Living" magazine last year? If it's the one, it's on my bucket list!

CD Cafe does not take reservations, but Cafe des Artistes takes them.
