Throwing the deuces
Anyone have the garbage plate before? A co-worker is up there on an extradition and sent me a picture of his meal. It gave me a tummy ache just looking at it. :bawl:

A Garbage Plate is a combination of one selection of cheeseburger, hamburger, red hots, white hots, Italian sausage, chicken tender, fish (haddock), fried ham, grilled cheese, or eggs; and two sides of either home fries, French fries, baked beans, or macaroni salad. On top of that are the options of mustard and onions, and Nick's proprietary hot sauce, a sauce with spices and slowly simmered ground beef. It's served with rolls or Italian toast on the side, fresh from the bakery next door. Health.com named the Garbage Plate the fattiest food in the state of New York.

I was born at Strong Memorial hospital in Rochester N.Y. We eat Garbage plates as baby food up there.

I was the designated driver for "garbage plate" runs from campus. Not a very safe area to be in though... day or night.

There used to be a silver diner that was more civil! I can't remember the street/location.

There was also a hamburger place outside of the RIT campus that was real yummy.

Yeah, bullets flew through the air pretty regularly on West Main St when I was growing up. I was raised off Genesee St...

My wife lived on Garson Ave. She was born in Genesee Hosp. Went up there this past summer to visit relatives that still live there. Here is her garbage plate she had.

Red hots, baked beans, macaroni salad, onions, hot sauce, ground beef. Heart attack on a plate.

For those not familiar, white hots are made from pork...my family brings me a couple packs whenever they visit.
