Spoiler!!!!!!

I was satisfied with the happily ever after aspect, but a little weirded out by the means to which she got there. I thought the confrontation toward the end was a little anti-climactic and the characters lacked the depth they had in the previous three books. In the first three books, the characters seemed so real that I couldn't stop thinking about them. After reading Breaking Dawn I don't think about them at all, they were a little too static for me. I won't complain though, because everything I wanted to happen ended up happening.

I kind of liked the end "fight" scene. Bella finally got to do the saving. I actually hated the book up until the surprise mid book twist. Then I was happy. Did you read the midnight sun chapter at Stephenie's website yet?

Were you Team Edward or Team Jacob?

I did like that Bella was able to save everyone, but it seemed like a cop-out to me that the Volturi just walked away. You have to read this, it pretty much sums up my feelings on the book.

I did read the first chapter of Midnight Sun, and I think it'll be a great read. It really gives you a lot of insight as to just how hard it is for Edward to be with her. I was definitely Team Edward; no self respecting romantic would ever be Team Jacob.
