Looks an awful lot like my P90, but can't really tell from the photo. If that is the model, I LOVE mine!! It takes great pictures, great zoom, and has multiple automatic settings, as well as allowing you to set some things custom if you like. Here are a a couple of macro pics from mine...

There other easy thing is to do a google search on "Coolpix L110 reviews", that should turn up loads of info on the camera.

I actually did both.
But they reviews are half and half they either think its the best thing since sliced bread or they hae it. Just wanted to see if someone actually owned it and there thoughts..

I just looked up your camera and think I may like it better seems to have a few extra features that are really nice to have. Also am I reaing right that you can also learn to manually adjust your P90 where as the L110 you can not?

I haven't done any sports shots. I mostly take pics of stuff around the yard and family. I'll look through and see if I can find any long distance stuff. Though I know it does allow you to do some manual adjustment with shutter speed and light, I really haven't played with it. I'm more of a "point and shoot" type of girl right now. I can tell you that it is very easy to use and the macro feature and 24x zoom are really neat!! Here are a few more pics. The one with the sunrise was taken Mother's Day on the bay. It was very windy and pretty choppy.

Looks like it "grew up" into the P100...

Thats what I was thinkig too, but it doesn't have the same Megapixels (P90 12.1, P100 10.3) and it only does photos up to 16 x 20 yours does 20 x 30.

Maybe I should just go with L110 it seems to have most of what yours has except the automatic stuff..

I wonder why they dropped the megapixels down on the newer model? That's weird. Good luck with whatever you decide on.

Well after going to several stores and talking to many people.

I bought the Nikon coolpix P100, over the coolpix L110

- L110 doesn't have rechargable battery, P100 did
-several people said that after 8 megapixels you really don't need to worry about it that the camera industry got a little carried away with it when it doesn't make a big difference.
-The P100 had the tilt screen
- P100 has the new HD feature
-P100 is the closest point and shoot to a DSLR that you can get.
and alot of other features..


So I think I made a good decision, whats yalls thoughts?

Don't buy one without a view finder. Holding a camer at arms lenght will never give you the stability of holding it to your head
