Nine indicted in P.G. on cigarette smuggling

Cigarette smuggling is becoming an increasingly attractive and lucrative crime, according to [Maryland Comptroller Peter] Franchot. Two former Prince George's police officers recently pleaded guilty for their roles in smuggling operations.

New York and Maryland created the black market by jacking up the cigarette tax, then complain about the black market they created. Liberal logic is an oxymoron.
