I've been using 78% nitrogen in my tires, and it seems to give me better gas mileage. Has anyone else tried this? What were your results?

As long as the other 22% is not concrete you should be ok.

I swear I read the whole post the first time through and didn't see the 78% Nitrogen.

But it is true that it was/is a big deal in the biker community. People talk about the much better handling, the better gas mileage.. etc.. etc.. it cures cancer..

I filled my tires with pure helium.


I don't know how much mileage I get, because I can't seem to get enough traction to make the car go forward.
