I have tasted venison every way it can possibly be cooked, and I don't like it. I had moose one time, and I know I'd eat it again.

Been invited to go Moose hunting out west. Never had the chance to go.

They're freakin' enormous, and the only one I have to go by is the one in Bass Pro. I don't even know if that's as big as they get.

That's what everyone has said, and so I've tried it, over and over. I'm through trying it. If something has to be tried over and over, or cooked a certain way, it's really not worth my time. If I can't just eat a slab of the meat, why should I bother with hundreds of recipes?

Yup.

The 'ol "It tastes just like chicken!" routine.

Then, I'll have the chicken, thanks.

:killingme Deer, moose, elk, caribue, it's all venison. If it wasn't the method of preparing the meat it was more than likely the result of what the critter had been feeding on. You might like mountain deer better then flatland deer or northern deer better then southern deer, don't give up.
