Man found dead in Occupy New Orleans encampment

A 53-year-old man was found dead Tuesday inside a tent pitched at the Occupy New Orleans encampment at Duncan Plaza across from City Hall. He appears to have been living in the tent inside the occupation zone, said John Gagliano, chief investigator for the Orleans Parish Coroner's Office.

The man appears to have been dead for at least two days, Gagliano said. :yikes:

if it is not Murder, it will be a drug OD case

They didn't die because Tea Party rallies don't go on for months at a time.

These guys won't close shop and go home because the moment they do, the movement vanishes. It only exists as long as the drum circle keeps beating.

Should open up some jobs for people that really do want to work. Matter of fact, I have to wonder if some were not convinced to go and camp out just to have their position open up for an American.

I hope they don't stop before I get there. I put in for leave but it will be a few weeks before I get the time off from work to go attend. I have an old tent but I haven't bought my drum yet....

Is there a web site that compares all the different amenities and attractions associated with each OWS site? One with reviews would be even better. You know..like you use to select a good campground or hotel....

I missed Woodstock. Not gonna let that happen twice.

well there is your 1st problem if you were dedicated, you would abandon what ever you have going on, and be there NOW

I think these free loaders could be 'retired' and no one would miss them

Gee, I wondered what that smell was! Maybe it was a vegan diet that did him in.

Hey. This is New Orleans. EVERYTHING smells funky in New Orleans.

Forget Occupy Baltomore. I rode by on the boy's field trip to the aquarium and it looked pretty lame, not even a dozen tents. I'd hit Atlanta. It's warmer and the babes have southern accents.

I got teargassed there in '69 at Peachtree Park after a free Allmans Brothers concert. :yay: good times

You won't have to go anywhere. I heard on the news this morning that they're walking from Manhattan to DC. Course they can't take the highway so going through Pennsytucky and rural NJ this time of year is kinda dumb. It IS hunting season after all....................
