...is no conspiracy; I'll type slow;

We, for our military, are getting a key component of it from a foreign nation. I don't like that. I think it is a bad idea for out national security.

:yikes:

I'm askeered!!!!

I think I better head up to the North Pole and hide out in Santa's Fortress of Solitude until this all blows over.

We don't tend...

I'm bored with people so flippantly isolationist without thinking through what it really matters. The world has moved on - I guess we can let them all buy from each other instead and sit here and group grope by ourselves - no one has any technology like ours. :rolleyes:

...enough to our own business, in my opinion. We are engaged in a swamp in Iraq where we are not really fighting but kinda are to the tune of $2 billion a week or so with a Vice President who isn't really even sure between Shia and Sunni and I hope to God no one asks the President to explain the difference with a mic on.

We are stuck in Afghanistan as heroin production reaches record levels.

We have lost more and more and more hi tech jobs to the dollar chase. We allow illegals to flood in because no one wants to pay an American any more than $6 an hour to flip burgers or cut grass. $12,000 a year. Yea haw.

We want to out source port security to a foreign GOVERNMENT.

The dollar is at pathetic levels, a silent tax on every single one of us, to goes not even to us, but over seas.

Tech service is done over the phone by people who you can barely understand. We won't even pay our own folks to sit at home and do this job.

Our energy policy is soundly based on foreign oil and is making people who don't much care for us rich enough to buy us, piece, by piece.

On it goes as our manufacturing base steadily shrinks.

Yes, I am America first and I damn sure am NOT America last when the result is that people who don't do a ####ing thing can have another $10 million in value for their portfolio and get out of their condo flips that went south.

I'm bored of all of that.

Saw this on the Boeing Website. Thought it might be of interest.
While the U.S. Air Force awarded a contract to build the next aerial refueling airplane to the team of Northrop Grumman and the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), Air Force evaluators found the Boeing [NYSE: BA] KC-767 Advanced Tanker offers more mission capability and has a better chance of surviving combat than the larger Northrop-EADS KC-30 tanker.
