I imagine that it takes some research ahead of time to know where the charging stations are because I have only seen a couple of them in my travels.

I see non-electric cars park at the ones at the Hagarstown outlets all the time.

No research needed. It's all at the push of a button on the rather large display. Very nice.

They're quick charge tesla stations. You can get a charge anywhere but it takes longer. Quick charge is about 20 minutes.

And the biggee, being stuck in traffic isn't prohibitively draining they say.

And the biggee, being stuck in traffic isn't prohibitively draining they say.

The only draw is the heating or cooling system and lights/computers and that is very small compared to the power consumed by the motor.

In any event, FWIW, the acceleration and braking were seamless, smooth as silk.

I bet. I haven't had a chance to drive or ride in any of the all-electric vehicles yet...unless a golf cart counts.
