Perhaps a part of it is white guilt. Another part could be an effort to appear as "woke" as possible to their peers, in some cases they may truly believe they are helping. Perhaps they are.
Madonna has always been a goofball. I doubt she is sexually molesting these kids, but her lifestyle is not one that I consider conducive to someone I would place children with.

Most countries want much younger parents. And many countries do not permit international adoptions - and just as many prefer to allow adoptions to their own people, living abroad. We had a choice among many programs and one look at the beautiful children from Ethiopia and we knew where to go.

My daughter is stunning, brilliant, talented and kind. I couldn't be more pleased.

I'm not prepared to indict Tom Hanks because of some blog on the internet, but since so many of those celebricreeps are pedos and sexual deviants it wouldn't surprise me. Ever since Cosby I'm just done with those people. They're all disgusting and people you wouldn't have in your home.

Glom on to Madonna? I’d rather glom on to John Madden and he’s dead. Madonna is a bizarre moral deviant who’s picked up every bad habit in a long and freakish life. Why I’m not buying into she’s a child trafficker is that she’s to well known. She’s got thousands of people that track her minute by minute. Same with Tom Hanks. She’s definitely a type that I wouldn’t trust around children, but with the numbers of hangers on in her sphere and peoples tendencies to post almost every aspect of their lives I don’t think it could have been hidden.

Every kook on the internet is an "independent journalist". I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you because it's more likely you're right than wrong, just based on pure environmental/occupational likelihood.

Back in the day when entertainers were considered low echelon, people would enjoy the entertainment and that was the end of it. There was no reverence, or emulation, or anything like that - it was a family's disgrace if their son or daughter worked as an entertainer. It was expected that entertainers were deviant and socially unacceptable, engaged in drug abuse, alcoholism, and sexual depravity - they were not admired. It would be interesting to explore when that changed and how it evolved. Maybe that's what I'll do today.....
