Retailer Ikea is under fire after one of its stores reportedly sent out a lunch menu for a Juneteenth celebration that is said to have featured certain dishes that perpetuate racial stereotypes.

I remember back in the 50's my mother used to get up at 5 AM and start cooking fried chicken to put into the picnic basket and we would head out for the Chesapeake Bay Ferry that would take us over to the Eastern Shore so we could go to Ocean City.
We ate it all day and it wasn't refrigerated either. Why is it some people believe that only black people eat Fried Chicken. I haven't been to a wedding or catered party ever that I remember Fried Chicken wasn't served. And watermelon too.

If blacks eat a lot of watermelon and fried chicken, why does it upset them when it is mentioned.
