Protesters Gather Again Near Bush's Ranch
CRAWFORD, Texas (AP) - More than a dozen war protesters returned to a roadside near President Bush's ranch before dawn Wednesday, defying two new local bans on roadside camping and parking.

About an hour after the group pitched tents and huddled in sleeping bags and blankets, a McLennan County sheriff's deputy arrived and warned the group to leave or face arrest.

Protester and former U.S. diplomat Ann Wright told the deputy that most of the group would stay because they believed the bans restrict their free-speech rights. The deputy said the group would have two more warnings before he started making arrests.
:dork: Any moron could tell you that you'd lose that battle.
Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan wasn't among the protesters Wednesday because of a family emergency in California...

"We are proud to be here," Dede Miller, Sheehan's sister
 Hubby's side disowned her and sister is there...what's the "family emergency"?

I wish that these folks and everyone for that matter, would think about 9/11 once again and remember those horrific sites in New York, Virginia and Pennsylvannia and think about the same b*stards that did these things to us are still out there in Afganistan and Iraq and other places(Syria,Saudia Arabia, Iran). I am glad we are over there sticking it up their *ss. This won't end until will kill every last one of them. They hate us and that is not going away. Iraq is like one of those electronic bug killers, it attracts our enemies to us and we kill them. Simple as that, it is a lot easier to attract them to us(Iraq) and kill them than to hunt for them all over the middle east. These folks that want to end the war and withdraw our troops no nothing about sacrifice for their personal freedoms they enjoy. They let others do their bidding and if looks like it will go south than they turn tail and run. They are helping to lessen our resolve, the enemy sense this and push harder, and this contributes to our armed forces be killed. We should not withdraw, we should gear up send every available man or woman and kick the insurgents back into the stone age where they belong.

Very true. I believe that if we wern't fighting them there, we'd be responding to them here.

This could NOT be any more stunning or inappropriate. However it does support my conspiracy theory about enemy-placed traitors in our State Department and other appointed government offices.

Next time someone calls me a nut about this, I shall direct their attention to the escapades of Ms. Wright.

I just wish karma was auto-signed. I always sign my red anyway because you have to be pretty bad to get red from me. If I think you deserve red, I'll let you know that it was me that gave it to you.

To the red karma :dork:, why don't you grow a pair and try to debate? You can still hide behind your keyboard...
I'm thrilled when they give me red karma instead of debating. That way I only have to read one sentence of their drivel instead of a whole post. :yay:

Heard that they changed the law in Texas were it is now a crime to camp along side the streets and they are now hauling these folk off.

Always believed this.

If you're too *gutless* to sign your red karma, it means there's probably no merit to your side of the argument, because you're clearly not willing to stand for it yourself. Anyone who gives it out and doesn't sign it convinces me that I'm probably saying the right thing.
