NY proposes ban on oversized soft drinks

How about they drop off a bag of rice, some dried beans, flour, salt and sugar and a gallon of milk? Like mom always said, if you won't eat it, you're not hungry enough.

I don't see a problem with this. This was standard when I was a kid, and we weren't government assistance.

In my opinion, they should be able to purchase only non-prepared food items. If they did that, then they could live on what they're getting.
