Very refreshing for these hard lefts to get a real dose of reality from their own decisions. So sorry for NYC, it actually was a great place to visit once upon a time. I spent many hours at theater, walking the streets at Christmas looking at the now defunct window displays, the Rockefeller Center tree, watching them inflate the balloons the day before Thanksgiving..... and the food.....
They really don't care until it effects them. They don't care what happens at the border states until it happens in their states.

It isn't just New York it's the whole country, that is being hurt by these invaders.
We aren't getting the pick of the crop we are getting the dregs from a society that is bad to begin with.
These people have no skis and in the past many of them came to work. This latest bunch just appears to want to stay in expensive hotels and trash them at taxpayers expense.

Sure, I was liberal once, too. I originally regsitered Democrat, and since I didn't make much of it, only quit a couple years ago.
And I was a liberal for the SAME REASON - they have high minded, altruistic ideas - that DON'T work, cannot work and when faced with reality, they don't like them.
Those people on Martha's Vineyard - those wonderful people - COULD HAVE TAKEN ALL OF THOSE people into their homes.
It was JUST FIFTY PEOPLE. My parents are conservative and not rich - and they took in four people, from Panama, fed them, found them jobs, helped them find a place to live and it took two YEARS - while living in their not spacious home. Those folks on Martha's Vineyard gave them a sandwich, hugged them -
AND GOT RID OF THEM AS FAST AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. Because virtue signaling is grand, so long as you never have to DO IT.

If these were all people from Scandinavian countries behaving in the same fashion, I'd say deport all of them too.
