Exactly.. Carter was/ is a great guy. Awesome person, great husband and father.. great humanitarian. How many times did we see Carter swinging a hammer for Habitat for Humanity??

Doesn't make him any better a President, but I'd love to have him as a neighbor.

The complaint I have with Carter is he violated the tradition of former presidents keeping their mouths shut about current presidents.

Not me. I specifically tried to avoid sanctimonious buttinsky neighbors when I bought my house. Carter does some good things, and I applaud that, but let's don't get too carried away with that "he's such a great guy" nonsense.
