Bone Voyage Kennels in Country Lakes also have training lessons available. Dan has worked w/ a multitude of animals in rescue, rehabilitating dogs w/ problems, issues such as dog aggression, as well as basic training such as sit/stay/off/down, etc. Two sessions will be coming up, I think the first one starts around Sept 15th, and the next session will begin Oct 20th.

If I were you, I'd do Canine Minds. They have a great philosophy...much different than many trainers. It is all POSITIVE. It will get your pup off to a great start. They hold the puppy classes in their building on Main Street in Prince Frederick.

Send Brett and email and tell her Abbey's mom sent you. I guarantee you won't be sorry.

I just got an e-mail back from Lori and she said classes were starting in September. 6 weeks - $125.00. Not bad.

You will really like them. I wanted to do the Street Smarts class with one of the Boxers. The time doesn't work out because my grandson will be playing football on Saturday mornings.

The classes fill up quick! But your little fella might be too young for the puppy class. I can't remember how soon she starts them.

She said they have had them as young as 8 weeks, so I'm hoping we'll be able to get in. :yay:

Oh good! That's great. They will give you really good tools to use at home. He will get bored but you just need to work with him for short periods of time (10 - 15) minutes a few times a day and he'll catch on in no time.

my 5 yo wants to be included, so I'm thinking 15 minutes max for the sake of the puppy and I think moreso for me!

I just e-mailed her to count me in. Just waiting on whatelse she may need from me! I'm really excited about this!
