They run very small but I was not prepared for them to run that small. They have to fit the biggest part of your body because it's a PITA to take them out but can easily be taken in. Sooooo, without it being said we know what the biggest part of my body for the wedding dress to properly fit is..... Yes, every bit of a size 8. Trust me I argued with her when she said it. I didn't believe it until I tried one on and it fit. :lmao:

They told me I was an 8 also when I was trying mine on last year but I couldn't get a feel for the fit because they were big. I tried on a 6, the dress fit perfect and I had zero alterations done. I did forget to get the button thing done for my sweep train, but I survived.

I haven't been following everything about your wedding, where are you having it? I did mine outside at Greenwell State Park and I was very lucky that we had a beautiful day so everything was perfect. Also, I had a girl from the MAC counter who also does the makeup for the Redskins cheerleaders do the make-up and she was fabulous.

Ohh and I had the prettiest flowers from a local grower that had very reasonable prices. Let me know if you need a florist, she did a great job on my flowers.

I was a size 6/8 at the time I got married, but my dress is a size 12. :jameo:

Pixie --> you are lucky to have a figure that allows you to get most any dress (except really poofy ones -- too little for that :lmao: ).

Good luck on your wedding. It's a REALLY exciting time for a lady. I remember mine SO well. It's fun to be the princess for the day.

Pixie, which dress did you get? :jameo: Don't keep us in suspense!

:yeahthat: I'm sure it is gorgeous.

I can't find a pic of mine because it was actually being discontinued so I bought mine off the rack.

If I don't go with the dress I've been favoring at David's I'm going through Country Bride in Upper Marlboro. :yay: Size 8. :faint: I love the Maggie Sottero collection. Very edgy!

Country Bride is who I went through. They were great. And kept in contact with me- and made sure that it was the dress I wanted without trying to show me other dresses that were not to my liking! I would highly recommend them!
