Ohio to Ban All Pit Bulls

This is dumb, and why should they euthanize them?? If the law passes, they should put the poor dogs up for adoption in other parts of the country. Also, why just Pit Bulls?? Aren't Rottweilers and Chows "violent" too?? Any dog can be dangerous and violent, they shouldn't discriminate against one breed. It's all about how the dog is raised.
It's not right for the state to take away peoples' pets just because they are a particular breed.

WOW I really hope they dont bring that law to the whole state of maryland or southern maryland...if so I will have to move!!!

That is like saying "ohh i want a pet lion. They are really sweet animals not mean at all, it is all how they are raised."
Then when the Lion attacks and kills the owner is just :shrug: "i dont know what happened"
Bottom Line Pit bulls are naturaly aggressive. Just look at the name BULL, bulls arn't nice.
Same things with other dogs as well. They do what nature dictates them to do.

They are terriers, you should research any breed before adopting a K-9. There just happens to be some D-bags out there that seem to think that having a Stafforshire Terrier (AKA Pit Bull) on a heavy chain makes them tough.
I have rescued many a pit from fighting peril in the mean streets of Kensington, Germantown, Fishtown... etc in Philly. You must know how to deal with the tenacity of a terrier, They are a working breed and need a job. You can not keep a "Pit" cooped up in a house all day then take him out for a few hours and expect him to behave nor can you beat a pit into submission, as with all dogs they have a boiling point and they won't take it anymore.

Thanks for the info dumb dumb. I don't think comparing any breed dog to a Lion is a very good comparison.
You for got to elaborate on the name Pit, pits are dangerous because you could get hurt if you fell into one.

I talk to mine too. The other half thinks I'm a dork. She talks back when she's hungry or wants to go out.

The story of guy in the second pic with his child says he raised his from a pup in a loving home and it still turned on them. I wouldn't laugh and make fun if I were you.
