Of all the things I see on FB, announcing good potty training wouldn't be the most offensive :killingme

Congratulations. Now just hope they don't practice outside like mine did.

Facebook didn't exist back then and neither did picture cell phones. We were at a beach on Cape Cod (no bathroom facilities) My son had to pee and I told him to go pee in the ocean (He was 3) He didn't do it the way I had taught him. Dropped Trou at the edge. Everyone on the beach clustered around and I hid under the beach blanket as my sister pointed and said he belonged to me. :cds:

When I was in elementary school, my Brother was a year or two old.
My Granddaddy let him pee outside if he was outside playing. Mom caught little Brother doing that one day and got on his case. "But Granddaddy lets me pee outside." Mom was not thrilled with Granddaddy 'bout that.

RIP Granddaddy - 1920-1976

Well. His daycare does the sit on the potty thing and I actually called them when this happened and asked if maybe this was something they forgot to share with me and his teacher said. "No way, he loves to sit but has never gone pee"

And I'm happy to report he's gone again !!! Wow !!

Make sure you celebrate it with him. When he sees you get excited, he will want to keep going!!!

My kids were all potty trained by 2 as well. :thewave: No more diapers to buy soon for you!!

:yahoo: Oh what a wonderful time. I had two daughters 11 months apart. I cried with joy when they used the potty chair the first time!!! Both were potty trained before 20 months old.

I'll be dropping my 26 month old off with you, then. The only interest he has in the potty is putting his toys in it.

Eventually he will train. Like I told my Daughter when she was going through this with her 2 1/2 year old..."She won't be going to the Bus Stop with a Diaper on". Some train easier than others. One of mine was 15 months-old. You just have to be open to the idea, and not miss the opportunity window. When they are ready, they are ready, and no turning back. Meaning, give the Diapers away, and don't fall back on them.

I still pee outside.
What's the problem with that?

:yeahthat:

Lady's to expedite potty training for the boys make it a game. Give him a couple fruitloop targets in the bowl and tell him to sink them. It helped with DoWhat. :yay:
