It's a better idea than letting just keep shooting each other up....so much for lib policies...but then again letting them keep killing each other is a a lib policy...

Correct. Lib prog policies have created the awful conditions of inner cities, but they will continually blame Repubs because they have no answers they want to share about their corruptness and vision of America; and they know they are above/will not share whatever policies they put in place. What they legislate will never affect them. That is why they don't read what legislation they are passing. They are that arrogant. They don't know what is good for America, they just know what is good for them. Our country is approaching the disgusting level, and it is very hard to take as a middle class person just trying to survive.

The fact that refugees are getting 20,000 per person to relocate them is appalling. The libs are creating future inner cities that will be out of control. F Obama, and all the NWO lib progs that came before him, and the current ones manipulating everything that happens now. Riots, protests, etc. The World should be trying to emulate America, but because of power hungry corrupt politicians, and egotistical people that have money to throw around, America is becoming similar to the rest of the World. Sad, indeed. Heartbreaking, actually. Rest in peace all Americans that were part of making America great. I am glad y'all are not around to see Her destruction.

Duh, they should rebuild their cities, after all, they're the ones who rioted, looted and burnt them down!

Rebuilding cities is a local issue. The problem is the urban voters prefer democrats to run their cities. If this isn't a perfect example of insanity. Many urban areas are hell holes, the politicians promise to 'fix' it if they get voted in, people vote, cities remain crumby or get worse, wash, rinse, repeat....

Take New York City as an good example. NYC has been run by democrats since the end of the 2nd world war. In 1994 Rudy Giuliani was elected mayor. His broken window policy is credited with turning the city around. Violent crime in the city dropped as a result of this policy. The city became a better place to work and live. The broken window policy addressed minor crimes that were being committed and held those doing those acts accountable. Dems seem to have a distaste for law and order. But that distaste in policing will lead to more crime and further deterioration. The recipe for urban success has already been written, other cities just need to follow it. It's irresponsible for any big city mayor that doesn't improve it's citizens quality of life.

Rizzo in Philly, Giuliani in NY, both made their cities much better until the next dem mayor got elected.

1.5 years ago California changed their shoplifting law.

Anything below $950 keeps the crime a misdemeanor — and likely means the thieves face no pursuit and no punishment, say retailers and law enforcement officials. Large retailers including Safeway, Target, Rite Aid and CVS pharmacies say shoplifting increased at least 15 percent, and in some cases, doubled since voters approved Proposition 47 and ended the possibility of charging shoplifting as a felony with the potential for a prison sentence.

Apparently California feels that stealing someone else property is just redistribution and that minor infractions do not lead to major infractions. I amazes me that someone can support such flawed logic.

When there is little punishment for wrongdoing

The problem here is that California literally has too many damn criminals to fit in their prisons, not enough money to build more prisons, and too high of taxes to raise to build more prisons.

So the populace has more or less accepted that its better to let lesser/non-violent criminals get away with #### than to further overcrowd the prisons and allow the real scary people early release/parole or in home detention.

Yep but I have no issue with overcrowding. If they have to sleep nut to butt I don't care. If you want to live comfortably stay out of prison and off Navy ships!
