Escape- On February 22, 2022, Cpl. Pontorno responded to the 40000 block of Henry Lane in Charlotte Hall, for the reported Escape. Investigation determined David William Hower II, age 23 of Lexington Park, (a detainee from the St. Mary's County Detention and Rehabilitation Center) escaped the treatment facility via an exit door at the establishment. Hower was quickly located and he became uncooperative and would not follow instructions. Hower was arrested and charged with Escape and Resist/Interfere with Arrest.

Assault- On February 23, 2022, Dep. Tasciotti responded to the 46000 block of Saltmarsh Drive in Lexington Park, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Erica Salazar Ramiscal, age 24 of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim by striking the victim in the head, causing visible injury. Ramiscal was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree.
