So, if someone honestly cares about Sudan, they should do something themselves. Meanwhile, it's okay to invade Iraq because he's torturing his own people (BTW, the Sudanese government is killing far more of their people than Saddam did).

I've suggested a multinational force, it's people like you that prevent us from doing anything.
It's not me dying so I don't give an eff. Is that about right. No reason to care unless there's profit to be made. No reason to care unless there's oil in the area. No reason to care unless we can kill muslims in the process.

Pardon my strong language but I am pissed off. I am pissed off that the U.N. expects 7,000 people to protect Darfur, and won't even fund the AU peacekeeping force (http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/L03119926.htm).
C'mon Mr. Ki-Moon, get up off your ass and do something. How many more have to die before the U.N. will actually do something more than writing letters letting Sudan know you're sad they have chosen to make the decisions they have?
They want to talk of suffering in Iraq at our hands, but not address the true evil people in this world. Instead, they want to pin the world's problems on us, get mad at us when we don't do something, reword resolutions we drafted to make them fall short of action, and then get mad when we do actually do something.
