Open House

You're a LOON :)
Time for another one?

Yesterday I was holding my newest 4 week old nephew and I asked DH if he wanted another and I thought he would :faint: Our youngest is 7 and I can't believe how fast the time has flown. Our oldest is almost 11 and makes us feel old, she keeps talking about her driver's license. But we seriously have no desire to have another baby. I am so done with the baby stage. They are fun to look at, hold and tickle but the best part is handing them back to their mommies.

Schools here don't start until Monday, and kindergarten doesn't start until September 2nd. We go for orientation next Thurs. Luckily they're one-on-one, so we don't have to fight crowds. :yay:

Yeah I have come to realize that the 2nd trimester is the only good one! !st one sucks due to being sick all the time and the 3rd one sucks because of big belly, walking becomes hard, having relations with the DH is more work than anything. And IF your baby is like mine that is sitting real low it will crush your bladder to a point where you feel like your bladder is going to come flying out! Yeah I like the second trimester..
Like you said it is worth all of the crap we go through.I am hopefully getting my tubes tied as soon as she is born. That is the goal me and the Dr is working on. Love kids but 3 is enough. I got my girl that is all I need.

Calvert how far along are you? I want to say your about 2 months? Are you going to find out what you are having?

I think we hijack this thread! Sorry!

What a complete MESS! Nothing was organized, it was far too overcrowded, the teachers (not all, but most) couldn't offer assistance and didn't even have their material together. Parents were rude and kept pushing their way through and stumbling on people.

Anyone else experience problems w/their child(rens) open house?

All I know is L'Town Elem. School had theirs last evening......:yikes:

Never seen that many cars parked on as many streets since the good old says of our carnival.......I let several people park in front of my driveway, because there was simply not enough room. But, from the people I talked to, they said it went over well.

I wish they'd have split up open house based upon grade. WAY too many people there to be of much value.
They split up orientation based on grade. When you entered the school, nobody told you what to do or where to go. The homeroom list was not even in alphabetical order and they probably had 30 sheets up. I said screw it and we walked around until we found more lists on a wall in the gym. They were selling gym uniforms and I asked the guy if we had to purchase them or could kids just wear their own. "I don't know, I'm just selling them." he said. :ohwell:

Hell no. I'm fixed. :yahoo:

Still, you never know! Stranger things have happened

I'm just kidding, I know you already have 3 little ones and must have your hands full. Hubby and I only want 2 and judging by our ages, we may only have this one and be happy with him/her.
