Opening Day for Shotgun

Be careful out there and remember Today is opening day for Shotgun hunting.

Horses are already spooky til they hear a few go off. We shoot frequent here at the property.

Be safe and Happy hunting for those that enjoy the sport. P.S. Get that big Buck that enjoyed jumping on the roof of my car and slid down my windshield and danced on the hood of my car. He was a party animal, but might be missing some fur as he left a bunch all over my car and Indian Bridge road. And leaped off in full run chasing a doe thru the woods.

when is shotgun season over? do they hunt on sundays?

i'll keep an eye out for that big hairless buck.....

hubs got skunked today but we heard a lot of other 'nieghbors' get lucky... he also went out on the bay at midday to try and hook some rocks and got skunked there too.... bad day for the freezer..

I had the shiat scared out of me today. My son got lost in the woods and ended up at a home who was by luck safe... they called me and brought him home,,,,I am still so upset but grateful he is ok...especially with hunting today.

There will be hunting till the end of the year between shotgun and muzzleloader seasons.

Hey Prep we think lulu may be a mommy.:yahoo: she is getting really wide. she still butts ya for a scratch too.

That is awesome! I am glad that she never lost that "bad habbit". :lol: Do you think it is from your Jack or a horse? Please keep me updated as I would love to see her baby. :yahoo:

Well Jack has been there forever (25yrs)and seems to have always shot blanks. This year someone must have gave him viagra, because he bred a mini mare and we got a baby mini donkey. So were not sure if it was him or the mini stud. We'll have to wait and see..I will let ya know when it hits the ground.
