A Salute to all on Watch
I have a Lincoln MKX... LOVE IT! Similar to the Ford Edge in body style.

It's my most favoritest car I have ever owned.

We test drove one of those (actually a couple) but the center console didn't seem right, no matter how I tried to adjust the seat I couldn't get it to stop digging into the side of my knee, I'm not that tall, 6'3" but MKX just wouldn't work.

I am 5'6'' and I fit in the car. :starcat:

Looking at the Highlander ,Santa Fe, Honda CRV, Chevy Traverse ,Ford Edge...any opinions on them?

We LOVE our Highlander, BUT I'm thinking you'll get a LOT more truck with the Santa Fe for the money, and be just as reliable.

We were surprised when we traded in an Eddie Bauer Explorer for the Highlander and the Highlander didn't come with things the Ford had.. Like the presets for different drivers, or adjustable pedals.. for them to tell us.. "If you want that you have to move up to the Lexus.. "

Again, we love our Highlander, no complaints, just think the Santa Fe would have been considerably cheaper.

I will love that Highlander even more when it is entirely paid for.

I have a GMC Acadia Denali.. May be selling it. Wifey is thinking about a car.

We recently purchased a fully loaded 2011 GMC Terrain w/ low miles (4000!) and LOVE it. I think it is smaller than a Denali. Though I didn't necessarily want a SUV type vehicle, it is comfortable to drive and has less road noise than a lot of cars I test drove.
Of course, the bells and whistles helped (heated seats, chrome everything, tow package, nav system, etc etc) !

Yep, Terrain is the smaller of the two.

We've been seriously looking at he new Hyundai Sante Fe and I have to say that so far I'm very impressed with the looks, the features and the price of this SUV; it drives nice too. It seems Hyundai has done everything right here. I didn't even consider looking at a Highlander so maybe we'll add that to our short list. We also really like the newly redesigned Nissan Pathfinder but haven't actually ventured out to test drive one yet. Sorry for hi-jacking...

Has anyone here test driven the Sante Fe and the Pathfinder? I would be curious to read ones impressions of the two.

I loved my Sante Fe and never had any mechanical/engine issues. The only drawback is it didn't have a tight turn radius. I traded my Sante Fe for the Ford Escape and received blue book value for the trade in. They retain their value if you take care of them and if you get a good deal when you purchase it.

The Escape is larger and has a very tight turn radius which is great for those small parking lots. Mileage (Fuel) is about the same depending on how I drive. I don't have any blind spots because of the way the mirrors have mirrors embedded into them (Duel view mirrors).

I prefer my Escape over my Sante Fe because it’s newer, larger, has more gadgets, and handles great in the snow. Plus I love the Sun Roof.
