Need a recomendation for Orthopedic Surgeon in the Waldorf area, I may be needing one. Ive had a pain in my neck on and off for about 2 months, after second trip to the Primary care doctor with pain, he sent me for a xray and it came back with signifcant 'arthur' and a pinched nerve, which I already suspected. We are trying medication at the moment to see if it helps, but Im not seeing how this is going to unpinch something. I go back in about 10 days and then he said maybe MRI and referal to the OrthoS. I think it just needs some therapy and it should be allright. Just asking for maybe some recomends for a doctor who does some good therapy. Family have used Dr Cirillo in PF in the past and have been pleased.

I don't think Neck and SPine would be Ortho but Neuro.

Try Dr Dicks at the Annapolis pain center.. :yay: :yay:

I know I'm a little late, but I suggest Dr. Rabbitt.

Pssst. It's Dr. Gary Dix, up at MD Brain and Spine in the Arundel Medical Complex right outside of Annapolis Mall. He's awesome.

Seriously, go see him and get an opinion.

Many of the orthopaedic doctors around here aren't iterested in healing you and getting rid of your problem. Think about it....if your pain goes away, there'd be no more patients for them. All they want is to make your pain temporarily minimize itself, so that you'll walk away feeling great, but when the pain re-emerges itself, you'll be compelled to go back to them for further treatment. Cha-ching in their pocket.

Go to someone who can truly help you. Dr. Dix. Why be in pain unnecessarily?

I posted in another thread somewhere but will say it again. As an OR nurse the doctors, surgeons, all of them, are so wonderful at AAMC. Dr Dix, Dr. Sullivan, and Dr. Burke are the best spine guys around. Yes they are neuro but if you need your neck fixed they are the guys to see. I have worked at all the hospitals down here, in VA and DC. They are the best out of all of them. Again, I see what no one else does. I would not trust my body to anyone but them.
