Stop buying these fragile phones and get a Droid:) My Razr HD Maxx has taken three waist high or a little higher drops onto concrete surfaces and the only damage has been slight marking on the carbon fiber corner and one small gouge on the metal edge band and one piece of the plastic corner has a mark.

Lucky you! I have the Maxx HD too and on the 2nd drop... poof went the screen, but it still worked lol called verizon to get a replacement via the warranty and they were back ordered! Asked if I could exchange in store and they said yes.... got a brand new one for the $100 deductible at least instead of a refurbished one... bought a case immediately for it lol it wasnt even 2 months old ughh

My coworker was telling me about that case, her daughter had it on her phone WATCHED it get run over by a truck....phone was fine.

I do believe I will be buying myself one.

It is too bulky for me. I still like to slip my phone in my pocket. That's not happening with that case.

The one I found didn't look so bulky, but I throw my phone in my purse all the time, so it's probably best if I put something sturdy around it

Yeah, Ballastic does have some smaller cases, but they're not as durable. Then again, I'm not working on ladders or running over my phone with trucks either. :lmao:

 well I would like to think I wouldn't be either, but in her case she was at the gas station and left her phone on top of her car. Drove away....BAM! But at least it was safe!

Anyone remember the days where you didn't need a phone case because the phone was pretty much indestructible anyways?.....

Yep, but I love the technology that those phones did not offer. I'm a cell phone addict.

I'm a internet addict and I love managing bills, bank and social life on one little device... though I still have a longing for some of the old cellphone days when you could drop it, plop it, burn it, swim it, and sometimes refrigerate it without really any consequences or having a $400-500 phone ruined... haha

I'm a internet addict ...

I remember when ALL Telephones were Western Electric and had either push buttons or Grandma's house that still had a dial phone ..... and used 5 digits

NO Body had an answering machine, and phones had REAL Bell Ringers

when you called your friend up, you left the phone ring 8 - 12 times and CALLED Back later .... if no one answered
