It's not so much that as what is normal teenage surly behavior and what's a sign of trouble? You just don't know until something more concrete happens - like taking a gun to school and threatening to shoot people.lillymay said:

Some of these children had exhibited signs of " being troubled" from a young age. I guess some parents live in a state of denial. I've read before how parents and/or teachers look back and recall events that had lead up to one significant fiasco but could never see it as it was happening. Wow!
Hindsight is always 20/20 and things that didn't seem worthy of concern when they happened take on a new significance.lillymay said:

God forbid, I actually care about the future of today's children. Any gun, including a fake AK-47, should not be in the hands of children. Every situation like this should be taken seriously. Have you not seen the news recently?
