The POS terminal is an inanimate object that does nothing but react to external forces in that cute way that inanimate objects do. Maybe the software should be updated to "fix" this "problem", but that's hardly the point.

The waiter is (supposedly) a reasoning being with a functioning brain, in that cute way that inanimate objects are not. The fact is, this jagoff insulted the people paying the goddam tab, and the only thing that was not deliberate or premediated was that they caught him. The people paying this jagoff's salary + tip. They were big latina gals - There is more than one outstanding characteristic there - and one of them is not a slap to their faces to refer to them as such. Why couldn't he just write "latinas" or "las tres senoras" or "messican chix" or something.

If I was the manager or owner of this restaurant, I would leave the POS terminal as it is, and get rid of the POS personnel. If I was the husband or brother of one of those girls, I'd give the waiter a capoeira demonstration.

There is really no valid excuse for the waiter. If you think it's fine and dandy to view the people who pay your salary with derision and condescention, then more power to you*, and good luck with that. Me, I find that attitude unredeemably reprehensible.





*Although, I won't vote for you in the next election - bazinga.

I didn't say it was the terminals fault, in fact I didn't say there was any fault. The waiter was using a simple mnemonic device to keep track of different customers, it could have been "hare lip" or "tight shirt", anything that keeps you from giving the wrong bill to a customer.

They not only looked over, but read all the receipt?!!!

I just look at the numbers. . .

. . .he should have really gone for the gold and made this news worthy:

The three fatsketeers
The freesome threesome
The ground will quake...
The floor will break
The fritter critters

This guy was stupid for putting this on the receipt. I don't know if he deserves to be fired or not, but at least moved to a more 'not scene' position may be suitable. edit: taking out the trash - that sounds about right.

On the news, CNN ( I think) they interviewed the women and they were FAT!!!

With the description Fat Girls if someone else brought out the food they would NOT be seen in the middle of the floor looking around thinking.. "WHICH table is this food for??"

They need to take their fattitude and get over it.
